Tender description
Scarborough Borough Council (SBC) have secured funding of circa £10m through the Government’s Town Deals programme to develop new maritime training facilities in Whitby, North Yorkshire. To ensure the facility meets the needs of end users i.e. training providers and commercial tenants The Council is seeking to secure an operator / head lessee for the facility. In order to facilitate the selection of an operator The Council are now seeking the support of a specialist marine / maritime consultancy to assist in addressing concerns and helping to develop a more holistic operator brief / model before marketing the facility to secure operator interest.
