The Department is continuing its programme of Service Delivery Modernisation. This modernisation programme is fundamental to the Department’s objectives of delivering a comprehensive service to people, positioning the Department to better adapt to political priorities and changing customer needs, and delivering on internal effectiveness and efficiency goals. The Department also has a suite of “Digital Services”. These are cloud-based frontends with an on premise backend, typically interacting with the departments’ core business application. The purpose of this public procurement competition is to seek provision of Technical Development Advice in support of the software development work to be undertaken on foot of the Department’s Service Delivery Modernisation (SDM), Transformation programmes and the expansion of its “Digital Services”. Lot 1: Lot 1 for an Expert Advisor The purpose of this public procurement competition is to seek provision of Technical Development Advice in support of the software development work to be undertaken on foot of the Department’s Service Delivery Modernisation (SDM), Transformation programmes and the expansion of its “Digital Services”. Lot 1 is for an Expert Advisor with at least twenty (20) years’ experience in the industry working within Application Development environments, with at least eight (8) years in a mentoring role. It will be for a minimum of forty (40) days per annum with additional capacity to drawdown a further twenty (20) days per annum. Lot 2: Lot 2 for a Senior Developer The purpose of this public procurement competition is to seek provision of Technical Development Advice in support of the software development work to be undertaken on foot of the Department’s Service Delivery Modernisation (SDM), Transformation programmes and the expansion of its “Digital Services”. Lot 2 is for a Senior Developer with at least twelve (12)) years’ experience in the industry, with at least eight (8) years in a .NET enterprise environment. It will be for a minimum of two hundred (200) days per annum with additional capacity to drawdown a further eighty (80) days per annum. In the event that the maximum days is required a second senior development drawdown resource of equal calibre and cost will be required under this lot.
