RFT for the supply of On-Site Technical Support Technicians for LWETB

Tender description

Longford and Westmeath ETB has sites to support which includes Post Primary, PLC, VTOS, Youthreach and Adult Education Centres. The technician(s) concerned will be working with a third party who is currently contracted to provide remote support and help desk services to the shared service ICT environment. The following are within the scope of this tender: The supply of On-Site Technical Support Technicians for LWETB: Management and support of the On- Site Technical Support Technicians: Provision of all necessary insurance, equipment, transport and any other elements required for the Technicians to successfully carry out their duties. The following are outside the scope of this tender: Remote support and Helpdesk Services: Hardware Maintenance on existing equipment. The agreement will initially run for one year, with possibility of extending the contract for periods up to a maximum of two additional years, subject to satisfactory provision of the contracted service by the successful tenderer.
