Tender description

The Reform and Delivery Office, in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, invites tenders for the provision of a training programme in ‘Managing /Delivering Change’ for staff who are leading on Public Service Reform Projects. The successful tenderer will be expected to design, deliver and evaluate a training programme to suit middle and senior managers in the Civil/Public Service. The course content is not intended to be generic change management training but, rather, tailored to the context in which staff leading in the delivery of reform initiatives operate and should provide a real understanding of the fundamentals of change in a public service context. An emphasis should be placed on the use of ‘action learning’ methods to facilitate problem solving and assessment of relevant public sector case studies within the programme. Subject to evaluation of the initial three (3 x 2 days) training programmes, the successful tenderer may be asked to provide further training programmes (up to a maximum of ten courses in total).
