Tender description

Emergency Works Scheme The primary works include: Replacement of the existing biomass and oil fired boilers and all plant, flues, pipework, valves, pumps etc within the existing plantroom. Removal of thermal storage vessels, biomass fuel silo and oil tank from site. Installation of new gas fired boiler system and associated flue, pipework, valves, pressurisation system, water treatment and circulation pumps to supply the existing heating circuits. Installation of new Mains Natural Gas supply to the plantroom. Replacement of existing MCC/BMS controls panel, field sensors and controls wiring. Additional works include, but which may be subject to DoES approval, include: Replacement of GP Hall and Indoor Ball Alley (5No.) heat emitters. Installation of additional heat emitters to Specialist Rooms (e.g. Science Rooms, Art Room, Metalwork, Woodwork, Home Economics Rooms etc). Replacement of steel gas (LPG) pipework in Specialist Rooms. The Mechanical Contractor will be the Principal Contractor and shall be responsible for carrying out all builders works, mechanical works, electrical works and painting & decorating to accommodate these installations.
