Feasibility Study

Portlaoise Panthers Basketball Club wishes to commission a competent and independent consultancy team to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study into the development of a Community Indoor Sports Facility. The feasibility study should cover the following aspects: • Business Analysis –financial analysis and business planning for the proposal. • Engineering (Civil/Structural, Mechanical & Electrical) & Quantity surveying services required to deliver the Scoping of the Works & Conceptual Design through to the Substantive Design. Business Analysis: A financial modelling exercise is required for the proposal, indicating the estimated capital costs and proposed sources of funding and other resources that may be required to bring the project to fruition. Financial projections are also required which detail how the facility may operate in a viable manner as a community-driven amenity, serving the needs of the Portlaoise community. Technical Design: The study should provide for a fully designed project - with specification and costings – that will facilitate a full and complete assessment of the feasibility of the overall development.
