Specialist Health and Safety Services

Tender description

To support the work of the Environment Agency’s internal HSW service (and services we utilise through other existing contracts, for example occupational hygiene, occupational health), we want to create a framework with small number of providers of HSW specialist services to provide additional capacity, resource and competent advice. Services required are:<br/>Lot 1<br/><br/>• Evaluation of HSW elements of procurements and tendering exercises.<br/>• Contract evaluation of Bidder health, safety and wellbeing arrangements. <br/>• Providing lead reviewer for internal accident investigations. <br/>• Risk assessments, audits and inspections. <br/>• Benchmarking with comparable organisations to help evaluate our approach.<br/><br/><br/>Lot 2<br/>• Provision of HSW advisors to undertake Construction site audits<br/>• Provision of Incorporated/Charted civil engineers to undertake SHEW design assurance. <br/>• Provision of Construction Design Management (CDM) training.<br/><br/>Providers can bid for more than one lot. The volume of work is not guaranteed. The Authority reserves the rights to engage other providers from time to time if the needs arise. Lot 1: Specialist Health and Safety Services
