Festival of the Sea Grimsby

Tender description

The aim of the tender is to deliver the Grimsby Festival of the Sea in Grimsby town centre in July 2023* (It is proposed to tender for 2023, with an extension clause for 2024 delivery). The aims of the Provider are to: • showcase Grimsby’s relationship with the Sea with a particular focus on seafood • be a great family day out • deliver content which showcases local skills and talents • deliver a market selling food, drinks and crafts from primarily local providers • bring businesses, educational establishments, community groups, heritage experts, creative individuals and arts organisations together • encourage people and organisations to find creative ways to highlight Grimsby’s seafood in an innovative and exciting way that appeals to both local and national audiences. • develop national and international links connecting Grimsby’s creativity with other places • develop and deliver a fundraising strategy to secure additional funding to deliver the festival
