Whickham Street Demolition

Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to procure a Contractor to demolish 44, 45, 48, 49 and 50, 51 Whickham Street, which is located in Roker, Sunderland. Gentoo are currently arranging for all service disconnections, and these will be completed prior to the Contractor starting on site. There will also be a requirement for the demolition Contractor to remove all identified Asbestos Containing Materials. Once all demolition has been completed and all waste removed from site, the Contractor will be required to import the correct amount of topsoil to lay where the properties once stood and to lay grass seed within this area. In addition, there will also be a requirement to install knee-high fencing to the perimeter of the site to stop any illegal parking where the properties once stood.
