No.42 Market Street – Basement Ventilation

Tender description

The Council require one Contractor to provide basement ventilation works at No. 42 Market Street in Halifax. The purpose of the project is to reintroduce passive ventilation to the Basement space and encourage perflation to the underside of the Borough Market floor. The works will comprise the installation of new bespoke ventilated pavement lights to the public highway to encourage natural air movement within Basement. This will include replacement elements of the existing structural floor as detailed within the proposed structural design. The full specification of works is provided within the suite of procurement documents. An accompanied site visit is a condition to tender and site visits will be made available via the messaging portal.
