PR002 - Provision of Pager Replacement Solution

Tender description

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust required a service provider to provide a new pager replacement solution for their on-call managers. On-call managers were using physical pager devices for all emergency communication that need to be escalated to On-Call Managers and Directors within the Trust. The NHS has been instructed to phase out the use of pager devices and therefore the Trust found a pager replacement solution with an application that can be used on all android or IOS smartphones. The procurement for the Provision of Pager Replacement Solution was run as a further competition under the Crown Commercial Services Network Services 2, RM3808 - Lot 7 Paging and alerting services. As the tender was run as a mini competition off a Framework, there was no requirement to issue a Tender Notice and all eligible suppliers on the framework were invited to tender, as per PCR 2015.
