Tender description
The CRO (contract research organisation) will perform this animal study, which will be conducted through the Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund to assess the efficacy of varying electrical power/frequency on ablation of the soft tissues. The site must have expertise in the testing of electrical ablation in a pig model. The site must have capacity to source and care for the pigs post-operatively for up to 13 weeks in line with US or EU animal welfare guidelines. The site must provide veterinary expertise and be able to give a competitive offering of in-study analysis, post operative organ collection, and histopathology to best evaluate the findings after study completion. It is expected the CRO will have ethics approval to cover the study.
