UOW888 Peirson Boiler Replacement - AWARD

Tender description

The refurbishment of an existing University of Worcester boiler room within 'Pierson Library'. The works involve stripping out the existing heating boilers, associated controls, pipework, gas supply, circulation pumps, condensates, drains, and flues in preparation for installation of new. There is currently a temporary boiler in place that shall be maintained and modified as necessary to maintain heating service throughout the boiler replacement works. New heating boilers shall be installed as indicated in the tender package to increase resilience and overall capacity for the library building. The heating boilers service a common VT (Variable Temperature) circuit serving perimeter convectors and two CT (Constant Temperature) circuits for air handling plant and domestic hot water generation within the building.
