Expressions of Intrest are invited from suitably qualified Main Contractor who wish to be considered for the construction works at Coláiste Choilm, O’Moore Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. Lot 1: Expressions of Intrest are invited from suitably qualified Main Contractors who wish to be considered for the construction works at Coláiste Choilm, O’Moore Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. The development will consist of the demolition and repositioning of an existing external store (c.67m2), the construction of a new 3-storey extension (c.2050m2) and minor alteration to the layout of the existing building to increase capacity from 620 no. pupils to 750 no. pupils. The proposed extension is to provide general classrooms, specialist rooms and two (2) class base Special Education Needs unit (SEN) and associated ancillary accommodation. Redevelopment of the existing car park area to provide 22 no. additional parking spaces and 150 no. bicycle spaces. New footpaths, external play area, boundary treatment, landscaping and ancillary site works and services connections required to facilitate the development. Construction access to the site will be provided through a separate temporary entrance taken off Bachelor's Walk. The works are tendered as a single-phase construction on the live site. The day-to-day operation of the school must be maintained at all times by the appointed Main Contractor.
