BT1613 Warden Call Entry out of Hours Maintenance & Service

The Warden Call and Door Entry systems exist to support vulnerable people to live independently within Sheltered Housing Schemes. The residents within the schemes have pull cord systems within their properties which they can pull to be connected to the 24/7 call monitoring service, as well as individual pendants that they can wear. The door entry systems, give access to the sites for anyone visiting the scheme from carers, families, friends, delivery companies, emergency services, etc. to name a few. It is essential that these systems are functioning at all times and when any faults or issues occur that these are rectified immediately. Based on the call outs over the last 12 months we anticipate the call numbers to be around 15 – 20 at evening/weekends. This figure however is approximate and may increase as well as decrease over the next 12 months of the contract term. Daytime calls will need to cover holidays, sickness and sometimes assistance with complex jobs.
