Stockport MDC has exceptional PR potential and are tackling some of the most prominent issues within the town centre such as housing delivery, the future prosperity of town centre, carbon reduction and sustainability in the urban environment. Stockport MDC is beginning to be recognised as the exemplar regeneration vehicle at a time when the model is generating interest nationally. As an innovator in town centre regeneration, the MDC needs to continue to change perceptions of Stockport to support its work in attracting investors, occupiers, and partners. By positively positioning the MDC's regeneration delivery and future plans the MDC should be able to build a network of ambassadors, regionally and nationally, grow its positive word of mouth, and generate increasing levels of support amongst all its key stakeholders.
