Tender description

The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Authority) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for the refurbishment and upgrade of Studio Galleries for Broadcasting for the Houses of the Oireachtas. The Houses of the Oireachtas Broadcasting Unit (OBU) is preparing to publish a tender for the replacement of Control Room infrastructure which is predominantly end of life and would like to replace it with a hybrid SDI/IP solution using the latest technologies, products, and solutions available. Lot 1: The project is located at the National Library's site in Mo i Rana, address Finsetveien 2. The contracting authority is the Ministry of Culture and Equality. Statsbygg has been given the task of constructing two new buildings at the National Library's site in Mo i Rana. The construction project is ongoing and will be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2024. The construction project is being carried out as a turnkey contract with MBA Entreprenør AS (MBA) as the main contractor. The project will result in two new buildings; a new automation store (logistics centre), hereafter called automation store 3, and a digitalisation building, hereafter called the audio laboratory. Automation store 3 will include a reception, freezer store, middle store with an automatic storage system for material worthy of being archived (this procurement), a digitalisation unit in the top floor, connection to existing buildings, lifts, stairways, WCs, kitchenette, etc. Due to staff holidays, questions will not be answered until after Easter.
