Notice of Upcoming Procurement - Aerial Surveys for HS2 Ltd

Tender description

The purpose of this notice is to raise market awareness of the procurement and seek supplier feedback on the approach. HS2 Ltd intends to competitively tender a long-term framework agreement for the provision of aerial imagery of HS2 route for purposes of management overview, project planning, collaboration enhancement and stakeholder engagement. The current route of Phase 1 and 2a is 247km long. Other phases may be added during the lifetime of the framework. The scope of services includes a provision of an uninterrupted video of the whole route (in 1080P and 4K), oblique hi-resolution still imagery, both georeferenced, an online system to showcase and store the data, and system support. Outputs shall take the form of a provision of online images and video files accessible to HS2 Ltd and its approved suppliers. The outputs will provide a comprehensive and accurate 'snapshot' of the construction delivery progression. By utilising the same flight path and methodology there will be accurate progress comparisons between flight dates. Detailed drone surveys of smaller sections will also be required.
