Tender description

The Council has a requirement for a new Wi-Fi Solution, with new PoE+ Edge Switches. This new equipment shall require the implementation of matching management and authentication for an estate, which currently has over 4300 wireless access points (WAPs) and 820 switches, across over 340 individual sites. Whilst this procurement does not cover all the ‘replacement’ equipment we will require for our full WLAN refresh, the Solution offered should be scalable to include all likely network equipment as it is added, further details are in the procurement documents
