Tender description

SEStran wishes to appoint an IT Services consultant to support and provide all the IT needs (hardware and software) of the organisation within a hybrid working environment. The South East of Scotland Transport Partnership (SEStran) is the statutory Regional Transport Partnership for the following eight local authorities: City of Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire, East Lothian, Falkirk, Fife, Midlothian, Scottish Borders and West Lothian. The SEStran office is situated within Scottish Government premises at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh and is subject to the Scottish Government’s security protocols. All site engineers/technicians will require full Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance to gain access to the premises. The successful contractor will be required to ensure that personnel are suitable and to submit all necessary data as set out in the BPSS application process. The Service Provider must notify the Authority of any matter or other change in circumstances which might adversely affect future Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance.
