Tender description

The Department of Education is engaging in this procurement process for the supply of a GIS Analyst for the Department of Education. The Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst will be required to carry out core GIS tasks such as data preparation, data collection, data analysis and output. Where applicable, responsibilities may include liaising with external organisations to ensure effective import and export of information. To provide GIS analysis and the harnessing of data to enhance the Department's capability to strategically plan and deliver on the Departments objectives and provide a means to assess the most effective allocation of resources. This will involve GIS analysis and the production of maps, dashboards and surveys to illustrate different aspects of the supply and demand sides of the educational sector in Ireland.
