Measuring Scotland’s net zero and climate adaptation economy

ClimateXChange commissioned research to extend and develop findings of a previous CXC project (IQ14 - Measuring Scotland’s net zero and climate adaptation economy – a methodology and pilot analysis). Ramboll were the only bidder of this requirement. This builds on developing findings of a previous CXC project (IQ14 - Measuring Scotland’s net zero and climate adaptation economy – a methodology and pilot analysis). The work is awarded to only bidder, Ramboll. IQ14 entailed the Scottish Government and Ramboll developing an approach to defining, measuring and monitoring the green economy in Scotland, including providing initial results showing the size and scope of Scotland’s offshore wind sector. This initial research highlighted the need to develop the methodology further by testing it on more sectors and conducting additional stakeholder engagement to verify results, and that the process is useable to different analytical teams in the government.
