Tender description

The force intends to trial the use of facial recognition technology to prevent and detect crime, to apprehend suspects and to increase the safety of the public at gatherings, events and in time other areas of high footfall. The results of this trial will be used to inform the force’s medium to long term strategy and plans for facial recognition technology.
