West Limerick Resources seeks Training Coordinator for Network Development, Marketing and Promotion of Tourism and related sectors

This request for tenders is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced trainer to deliver a tailored training programme. Core areas which must be covered include marketing – both traditional and digital; visitor experience development; network development; PR and events management training. West Limerick Resources will fully brief the chosen trainer on development work to date prior to the commencement of this programme and it is expected that the full programme content will only be finalised after this engagement and with full agreement of WLR as the contractor. The target audience is estuary-based business and communities as appropriate, with the majority to be based in West Limerick area. It is essential that the programme actively engages key businesses who are of strategic importance to the development of the area. The roll-out of the programme may entail a combination of both in-person and on-line training to maximize reach. However, as network development is a subsidiary objective of this initiative, it is not envisaged that all training will be delivered online. The tender should include a budget for venue hire as part of the overall proposal as well as for advertising the programme. While previously the network development focused on Tourism Business, there should be emphasis on widening the scope of participants to include event organisers, tour operators, retailers, transport providers, holistic wellness providers, and other businesses that support the development of a destination. The objective - to develop clusters and business opportunities to support sustainable growth of the region.
