Tender description
The National Monuments Service proposes to hold a 1-day themed archaeology conference to highlight the significance of Ireland’s archaeological heritage. The 1 day thematic conference will be held in partnership with colleagues in the Office of Public Works, who are providing the venue. The Conference will be held in the Print Works in Dublin Castle on 7 October 2023. It will also be livestreamed. The conference is to be both academic and community-based. The conference theme should have an international dimension. It will be the responsibility of the appointed Service Provider to manage and promote an international archaeological conference. Services will include the management of logistics (with OPW hosts), identification of a theme and speakers, detailed arrangements with regards to speakers and promotion of event, promotion and marketing of the event and publication in monograph format of conference proceedings.
