Site Clearance and Fencing Contract for the N70 Sneem to Blackwater Bridge (Tahilla to Doon) Road Project

Tender description

The N70 Sneem to Blackwater Bridge (Tahilla to Doon) Road Project comprises of the improvement of approximately 3.1km of National Secondary Road which commences in the townland of Tahilla (approximately 6.8km East of Sneem) and terminates in the townland of Doon (approximately 4.5km West of Blackwater Bridge, and 17.5km West of Kenmare).The subject project comprises of the improvement of the existing N70 National Secondary Road to provide a Type 3 Single Carriageway Road with a segregated cycle track/pedestrian facility on the north side of the road. The Site Clearance and Fencing Contract is a necessary advanced contract to facilitate the subject project, early environmental works and to establish the project site boundary. Works will generally include: - Site Clearance; - Fencing; - Minor Earthworks; - Minor Pavement works (unbound); The successful tenderer will undertake the roles of Works Contractor and Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) on the project in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
