Tender description
Due to Public Health Regulation 2015 – 'exemption from competition’ which enables an agreement for 2 year period to a single source provide. Echosens are the only provider worldwide for the FibroScan machine – they hold the patent. Maintenance of the FibroScans including an annual PPM service, probe calibration, callouts, software updates, technical support, repairs and replacement parts due to normal use. Training on FibroScan use. This will facilitate use of the FibroScans which will be used to measure liver fibrosis, contributing to the alcohol harm reduction programme.
