Counselling Service for Care Experienced Young People (Re-advertisement)

Tender description

The Council intend to establish a single-Contractor Framework with a counselling service which understands the needs of care experienced young people aged 16-26 years in line with The Promise Scotland. To provide a counselling service to care experienced young people aged 16-26 years across the Council area. . The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework (“the Framework”) has a focus on early support for children and young people within the context of their families and communities. A key principle of the Framework is to provide support and services to which young people can self-refer. This shares the aspirations of the Promise, and the Plan for North Lanarkshire, focusing on co-production and support which is accessible where and when children, young people and their families need this most. Alongside this the North Lanarkshire Children’s Services plan 2021-2023 sets out mental wellbeing as one of its key priorities. . The tender process will include a range of selection and award criteria, with objective to identify the most economically advantageous tender. .
