Crocus is a peer support group for women and men who are living with a cancer diagnosis who are at different stages of their journey. The group offers understanding, support and confidentiality in a caring and nurturing environment. The Crocus Centre is open from Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm and Friday 9am to 12pm, where we offer a drop-in facility and provide a range of complimentary therapies, support programmes and counselling for members and their families. We also offer our members a transport service to assist them in attending their cancer related medical appointments. We have one car presently available to our members and due to Covid and keeping our members and volunteer drivers as safe as possible we only transport one member on any one journey. The car is currently transporting 4-5 members per week to cancer related medical appointments. The vehicle will be used to transport members to their cancer related appointment. The vehicle will be made available to all our members, currently 125 members, who need assistance is getting to their cancer related medical appointments. It is proposed that the vehicle will be used to transport 5 members per week to their cancer related medical appointments. We are requesting quotations for the purchase of a New SEAT Tarraco SE 7 Seater.
