Tender description

Ofcom has a statutory duty to promote media literacy under section 11 of the Communications Act 2003. In an online environment where the possibility of external regulatory oversight of individual pieces of content diminishes, the need for a media-literate public increases. We are commissioning this work to seek to understand the way that immersive technology is likely to fit into people's lives in the future and identify the upcoming media literacy challenges in this area. This piece of work will provide a significant contribution to our industry and consumer insight in this area.
