Heat Pump Testing

Tender description

The objective of this Request for Tender is to carry out testing of up to two heat pump models – for the purposes of this RFT called, “Model A” and “Model B” – in order to assess the compliance of these products with the EU Ecodesign Directive (2009/125/EC) and the EU Energy Labelling Regulations (EU 2017/1369), hereafter called “the Regulations”. The appointed service provider will be required to test the following: Model A One unit of Model A has already been tested and has not achieved the results required to comply with the Regulations. Therefore, a further three units of Model A must be tested to assess their compliance with the Regulations. Model B A single unit of Model B is due to be tested shortly and if this is found not to have achieved the results required to comply with the Regulations, we will also need to test a further three units of this model.
