The 'Working with Natural Processes' (WwNP) Evidence Directory [https://www.gov.uk/flood-and-coastal-erosion-risk-management-research-reports/working-with-natural-processes-to-reduce-flood-risk] was published in 2017. This is now five years old, and an update is needed to summarise newly emerged evidence in this fast-moving area. This is a project funded through the Joint Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Research Programme to support strategy delivery. The outputs from this project will be published on the 'Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) research reports' section of the gov.uk website.
