Primary care medical provision for the patients of Sollershot Surgery

Tender description

The purpose of this Notice is to notify the market of the award of a short-term contract to 12 Point Care (GP Federation) to provide primary medical care services to the registered population of Sollershot Surgery, Letchworth Garden City, East and North Hertfordshire. The service is being delivered under an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract and is due to expire on 30th June 2023. The service has been delivered by 12 Point Care since 1st July 2018 and was awarded via a competitive process for a 3-year period with a 2-year optional extension. The contract awarded to 12 Point Care will be to deliver the services for a further 6 months ending on 31st December 2023. The new short-term contract will allow commissioners sufficient time to undertake market engagement and inform a full options appraisal for the longer-term service from 1st January 2024 whilst ensuring continuity of care for the registered patients of the surgery. Further notices will be published to inform the market of the next steps for this contract when the options appraisal has been completed.
