Tender description
The Five Year Forward View for Mental Health set out clear recommendations on suicide prevention and reduction, and made a commitment to reduce suicides by 10% nationally by 2020/21. The contract is for three years with option to extend for a further two years. The contract value given in this notice is for the full five year term. Lot 1: The preventing suicides in England strategy, March 2021 estimates that annually 800,000 people across the world die by suicide, with 5,316 people sadly taking their life in England in 2019.<br/>All areas of the country will receive investment in their services, by 2023 to 2024, to further support local suicide prevention plans.
