Tender description

Construction of a two storey extension to the existing single storey school, demolition of a portion of the existing school, refurbishment and alterations to the remaining existing school building, provision of temporary accommodation for a portion of the Contract period and associated site works. The extension comprises of 14 no. classrooms, GP Hall, admin and principal offices and ancillary accommodation with an area of 1,911sq.m (Includes 30m2 for New Plant Room). The site works comprise new ramped access, 2 new ballcourts, extension of existing parking to cater for 23 No. Staff spaces and 9 No. Visitors spaces, new main entrance walkway, landscaping and general remedial works to existing surfaces. There is also some works on the main Bothar Brugha Road to upgrade the shared entrance to the School along with pedestrian crossings and public greenspaces etc. Works to the existing school building comprises of the redesignation of existing rooms to provide 2 No. classrooms, Library resource room, 6 No. SET rooms, Staff room, Home Liaison, Multi purpose room and other anciliary accommodation.
