Consultant Advisor: Education and Skills 2030 Strategy

Tender description

Doncaster Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Consultant Advisor to support the implementation of the Education and Skills 2030 strategy, with a particular focus on its Talent and Innovation Ecosystem (TIE). In doing so, the Consultant Advisor will work with the Education and Skills Partnership Board and its subsidiary governance structure to provide additional expertise around system orchestration, innovation, and international best practice. The Education & Skills Strategy 2030 presents Doncaster’s vision for the future of lifelong learning. The vision is ‘Equitable and inclusive lifelong learning that empowers people to thrive in life and work’. The strategy is a key contributor to the overarching Doncaster Delivering Together Borough Strategy, and developing Regenerative Economy Strategy; and each of these documents recognise the importance of lifelong learning as a key driver for inclusive prosperity and wellbeing – a means to improving health outcomes, living standards, earnings, in-work progression and reducing unemployment.
