Tender description

This is an award notice for the inspection, testing, certification and repair works of the following Assisted Living Equipment at the Councils Properties along with those of other external clients to the Council. The contract will be for the period 1st June 2022 – 31st March 2025. Thereafter, the contract may be extended for a further 2 years (up to 31st March 2027) subject to satisfactory performance during the contract year and the agreement of the costs for the ensuing 12 months. Lot 1: This is an award notice for the inspection, testing, certification and repair works of the following Assisted Living Equipment at the Councils Properties along with those of other external clients to the Council. Lifts, ceiling track hoists, bath and stretchers complying with: 1)BS 5900:2012 Powered homelifts with partially enclosed carriers and no liftway enclosures. 2)BS 5965:1980 Specification for manually driven balanced personal home lifts. 3)BS 6440:2011 Powered vertical lifting platforms having non-enclosed or partially enclosed liftways intended for use by persons with impaired mobility - specification. 4)BS5776:1996 Specification for powered stairlifts The contract will be for the period 1st June 2022 – 31st March 2025. Thereafter, the contract may be extended for a further 2 years (up to 31st March 2027) subject to satisfactory performance during the contract year and the agreement of the costs for the ensuing 12 months. The value stated is for the full duration of the contract.
