Tender description

The HSE wish to procure Anti Ligature Works in various areas of the AMHU to mitigate the risk of self harm and suicide within the unit. The unit is approx. 1789m2 gross internal floor area and accommodates 33 inpatients 24/7 365 days per annum. The unit will reduce from 33 to 28 inpatients to facilitate these works. Client Scope of Works/Specification:- -Corridor Doors New Locking Mechanism to be installed to ensure these doors can be locked down during the day to reduce ability of patients to enter bedroom areas during the day thus reducing the risk. A number of corridor doors are being replaced to open in one direction. A number of doors (5nr) off corridors to receive opening controls -Bedroom En-suites Fit out to make fully anti-ligature including replacing windows. -En-suite Doors En-suite doors to be replaced in all cases to anti-ligature doors. -Bedroom Windows Being replace to anti ligature windows. -IPS Panels IPS Panles to en-suites and bedrooms replaced to make anti-ligature. -Wash Hand Basin Bedroom WHBs being replace to anti ligature type WHBs. -Vistamatic Vision Panels to Doors New bedroom doors and screens with vistamatic vision panels with integrated blinds to single bedrooms and screens to parent and child suite. Miscellaneous replacement of fixtures and fittings with anti ligature FF&E Making good all finishes disturbed as a result of the works.
