Tender description

Since 2012 the Health Research Board (HRB) has worked with CC Technology to refine and customise their CC Grant Tracker software to deliver a centralised, integrated, secure and user-friendly solution for all aspects of grant management. The HRB now plans a new phase customisation and refinement of the GEMS system to deliver further post-award grant management functionality to:1. support enhanced capture and reporting capability 2. support the online submission of annual and final annual reports on active awards3. support online submission, assessment and resolution of contract variation requests4. support automation and further financial management functionality, and integration with other HRB financial management systems5. enhance the ability of the HRB to generate a range of reports from the GEMS system that are not currently available Also the licensing, hosting and support of the system over the next four years. Lot 1: Since 2012 the Health Research Board (HRB) has worked with CC Technology to refine and customise their CC Grant Tracker software to deliver a centralised, integrated, secure and user-friendly solution for all aspects of grant management. To date, the system (entitled GEMS) has been successfully deployed to support the online submission of all grant applications, the peer review and selection process, the finalisation of contracts and management of award payments and refunds. The HRB now plans a second phase customisation and refinement of the GEMS system to deliver further post-award grant management functionality to: 1. support enhanced capture and reporting capability of contact details and staff positions, in order to stratify contacts for reporting, include ORCID number for future verification, and facilitate capture and reporting on professional background, gender and demographics 2. support the online submission of annual and final annual reports on active awards 3. support online submission, assessment and resolution of contract variation requests 4. support automation and further financial management functionality, and integration with other HRB financial management systems 5. enhance the ability of the HRB to generate a range of reports from the GEMS system that are not currently available Also the licensing, hosting and support of the system over the next four years.
