Concession contract for Kiosk at Ladies Beach, Salthill, Galway

Tender description

Galway City Council is seeking tenderers for a concession contract to operate a Kiosk at Ladies Beach, Salthill, Galway. The concessionaire will be required throughout the specified period of the contract to provide and maintain to the satisfaction of Galway City Council a supply of snack food, tea/coffee and hot beverages for sale at the Kiosk. The kiosk is adjacent to a Lifeguard station. The concessionaire shall not interfere with the operation of the Lifeguard duties or any equipment associated with the Lifeguard duties. Clear access to the Lifeguard station shall be maintained at all times and no obstructions to the access route to the Lifeguard Station will be permitted from the concessionaire. The concessionaire shall ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory legislation in matters of Health & Safety, and ensure that all staff are adequately trained in health and safety issues (including food hygiene and procedure in the event of an accident) and provide Galway City Council with evidence of same including any HSE regulations as required.
