WHHT - Fire Door Maintenance - Inspection, Remediation & Certification

Tender description

The works at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust comprise of the Inspection, Remediation and Certification (as required) of Fire Doors (internal fire resisting doors and final exit doors) as applicable; described and identified in the Schedule and located on the Tender drawings to be provided.<br/><br/>Ongoing, Functional Fire Door Inspection and their subsequent maintenance is a fundamental requirement of managing compliant fire resisting doors to a satisfactory standard, meeting the legal requirements of Article 17 of the FSO and in accordance with Fire code HTM 05-03 part K, BS 9999 and BS 8214. Lot 1: An FTS Open procedure has been run on the Atamis e-Tendering Portal (ref. C46753).<br/><br/>A key principle in the Hertfordshire and West Essex ICS is that of collaborative working. In the spirit of operating as an ICS, procurement projects where practicable should be undertaken on the basis that the outcome will be applicable to all parties (whether immediately or subsequently).<br/><br/>Therefore, the terms of any contract resulting from this procurement shall permit partner organisations to join the agreement at the agreed contract rates.
