Shooters Grove Accessibility Phase 2

Tender description

The project is the construction of a new extension to house a Hygiene Room and Lobby, installation of a platform lift, alterations to existing toilets and external works. The Works to the Extension comprise: excavations, foundations and floor slab, brick / block walls, timber flat roof, doors, windows, fittings, finishings, services and decoration. The Works to the Lift comprise: forming opening in existing external wall, excavations and foundations to pit, new platform lift and shaft, structural supports, new window and services. The Works to the existing Toilets comprise: removing fittings and partitions, new partitions, windows, sanitary fittings, finishings, services and decoration. The Works to External Areas comprise: demolitions, new retaining wall, fencing, paving, car parking and drainage works including new pipe runs and manhole. Some of the works are required to be completed during the school holidays (see Pre-Construction Information within Appendix F of the Tender Documents. The remainder of the works will be completed during the school term time when the building is fully functioning and occupied. Therefore, all areas of work must be made clear and segregated from occupied areas to ensure no access to the works is possible by any building user.
