Invitation to tender for supplying and commissioning a Data Backup and Ransomware Solution.

Tender description

To procure a new, NCSC 3-2-1 compliant and ransomware immutable solution to replace the legacy backup solution. With the growth in ransomware attacks targeted at the HE segments it was deemed essential to apply a level of protection to the Falmouth, FX Plus and SU data contained in the Microsoft O365 tenancy. To this end IT services it is suggested that a review and consideration the practicality of providing backup facilities for O365 data should be considered as part of this submission. We are releasing our requirements through a vendor specific tender process to procure the necessary equipment to realise the design requirements. It is expected that the recommended solution has referenceable experience in the HE sectors and is represented in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant under the category of Data Centre Backup and Recovery solutions.
