Small holders and their families are also recognised as a group that may present for upskilling in particular areas of ICT and will be able to avail of both programmes. KLP identified through 1-1 supports the emerging needs that were common to many people seeking employment. This bespoke training programme will seek to address those gaps. The ‘Bridging the Gap’ Training Programmes will have a number of modules. 1. The Personal Ongoing Development Module, this is an initiative designed by KLP, originally aiming to respond to emerging ‘soft skills’ development of individuals, underpinned by health and wellbeing. 2. The Fit2Work Platform Module, brings the participant through skills such as Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Interview Techniques and Writing Applications. Trainers offer guidance and support to complete CPD certified Excel and Word training programmes – essential skills for the future. 3. The Review your Revenue module delivers training to all individuals on how to register online for their Individual ROS accounts and Gov.ie accounts which is essential for the future as online services become mainstream.
