We are currently investigating the potential routes to market to procure a test house facility to test the products submitted as part of an upcoming tender for Public Order shields. Testing will be required to take place from January onwards. Test rigs have been produced and will be provided. Please message with relevant details if this is a service your company/test facility is able to provide. Testing will be required to take place from January, test rigs have been produced. Additional information: Testing as a minimum will include 1. Testing as part of a tender process to select a Shield provider of Long, intermediate and round shields. 2. Testing for initial, first batch production and supply by the selected supplier. Indicative Testing required: Flame/chemical conditioning, Impact Trauma Test, Impact (chisel) Test, Edge Cut Resistance (BS7971-4 and referred to in BS7971-3)
