Kildare County Council Brigid 1500 Project requires the service of a Marketing and Public Relations Consultancy Service. In summary, the provider will be required to: - Play a key role in the development of a Programme of Events for the Brigid 1500 Programme; the creation and venue selection for each event, as well as liaising with prospective dignitary and VIP invitees, - Liaise and co-ordinate with other national events and organisations. Maintain contact with national and international bodies, such as Failte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Department of Foreign Affairs to promote Brigid 1500. - Present an update report to the Steering Committee each month. - Inform and enthuse the public about proposed events as well as their opportunities to participate. Any of the organisation of organisation, admin and running of such events will be managed by onsite Kildare County Council Team. - Support onsite KCC team with event planning. - Liaise with local Kildare businesses to communicate both the opportunities and potential benefits of involvement with Brigid 1500 events. - Advise on marketing and promotion for the programme. - Provide schedule for social media, website and advise on same to maximise reach. - Co-ordinate press releases and media coverage and engage with media for the Brigid 1500 campaign.
