Tender description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market that it is the intention of Leicestershire County Council to issue a tender for the Machine Lay Carriageway Patching Contract_2023. This is to replace Patching Contract 2019 (currently in place) and preparatory work for the re-procurement is currently underway. The Contract Notice is currently anticipated to be published in January 2023. Please note that the date given under II.3. Estimated date of publication of contract notice is INDICATIVE ONLY. Interested economic operators are advised to check the https://www.eastmidstenders.org/ website for further updates. Lot 1: This contract is for Carriageway Patching valued at approximate spend of £7.5million per annum. The work covered under the carriageway patching programme shall include: o 40-100mm deep inlay patching o Overlay patching o Adjustment of ironwork o Minor kerb repairs o Ad-hoc proprietary ironwork repairs The initial contract period shall be for 12 months plus 4 optional extensions of 12 months each. The Contract used shall be NEC4 Term Service Short Contract.
