WCC - Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is seeking to commission a single provider to coordinate and deliver suicide prevention training that provides the training recipient with skills to support a person who is at risk of suicide and where to signpost to for support. The aim of the training programme is to develop a frontline workforce within Coventry and Warwickshire that is more confident and suicide aware when talking with individuals who may be at risk of suicide. This is part of a longer-term ambition to build a sustainable offer for suicide prevention training within the frontline workforce across Coventry and Warwickshire and increase the awareness of suicide and preventative activity within the wider community. The target audience is public-facing/frontline workers and volunteers who come into contact with individuals who may be at risk of suicide on a regular basis due to the nature of their role. Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process.
