<p>Wiltshire are looking to commission a new framework for the provision of Tier 4 residential drug and alcohol treatment that fits the needs of the Wiltshire residents, reduces health inequalities, improves outcomes for this client group and is also a robust and cost-effective provision for Wiltshire Council. The treatment process is split into three sections: Detox, Primary and Secondary. Detox is the clinical phase of becoming abstinent, carried out in a medical setting with supervision. The &lsquo;primary&rsquo; part of the process is around understanding the personal reasons for the substance misuse and finally the &lsquo;secondary&rsquo; is looking at ways to make sure the recovery carries on in the community.</p> Keywords: Drugs, Alcohol, Detox, Tier 4
