Tender description
Border Force is a law enforcement command within the Home Office. Border Force secures the border and promotes national prosperity by facilitating the legitimate movement of individuals and goods, whilst preventing those that would cause harm from entering the UK. This is achieved through the immigration and customs checks carried out by our staff at ports. To facilitate these checks, Border Force utilises different lifting and hoisting equipment at each port. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that all equipment remains safe to use and fully operational. This requirement is for an scheduled servicing, planned maintenance & reactive repair of all lifting and hoisting equipment that is owned and utilised by the Authority throughout the UK and Northern France. 1. This Procurement will establish a Single Supplier Contract for the 'Scheduled Servicing, Planned Maintenance & Reactive Repair of Lifting and Hoisting Equipment' owned by Border Force. 2.The contract will be for three (3) + one (1) years (3+1). 3. If you are already contracted to undertake Lifting & Hoisting Inspection and Certification of Border Force lifting and hoisting equipment, your bid cannot be considered for this opportunity. The procurement is accompanied by the following documents: 1. Attachment 1 - About the Procurement 2. Attachment 2 - How to Bid 3. Attachment 3 - Statement of Requirements 4. Attachment 4 - Price Schedule 5. Attachment 5 - Short Form Contract - Please read all the documents carefully. - Please ensure that you fully complete and upload Attachment 2 'How to Bid' and Attachment 4 - 'Pricing Schedule'. - Please also ensure that you upload a letter headed and dated quotation. - The clarification period ends on the 4th February 2022 - The bid submission deadline is 14th February 2022 If you have any questions in respect of this procurement, please contact Christian Hough (christian.hough@homeoffice.gov.uk).
